Q: How do I view a particular latitude, longitude?
A: Just type the latitude, longitude at the search bar at the top. For example, for Seattle type in
47.60,-122.33 or
47 36N 122 19.8W. Either format will work.

- Soundings: either feet or meters based on configuration.
- Obstruction (rocks, wrecks, etc.) depths/heights: either feet or meters based on configuration.
- Tides: either feet or meters based on configuration.
- Elevations, bridge clearances, beacons/light heights, etc.: always in meters. Denoted by m.

Q: All my channel markers, buoys, etc. are black. What is the problem?
A: We are using symbology from the International Hydrographic Organization. These symbols are black and are recognized by shape rather than color. Although it would be easy for us to "color" the symbols, we feel that it is more important to maintain standard symbology rather than "improve" it with our own ideas.
